Michelle & Gavin | Cheshire Wedding Photography

My favourite season is autumn so I was delighted to photograph Michelle and Gavin’s autumn-themed wedding this October, at Oddfellow’s in Cheadle. With plenty of brightly coloured tree decorations, and beautiful small details such as leaf-shaped men’s cufflinks, it was sure to please anyone who loves all the gorgeous hues of this time of year.

Being second photographer to Rebecca Wade, I started out with the groom and groomsmen preparations in the morning – slightly chaotic but full of laughter and fun! After donning their suits they hopped into some beautiful wedding cars and drove down to Oddfellow’s, just ahead of their guests arriving.

After their ceremony we managed to capture some beautiful shots with those lovely autumn colours as a stunning backdrop. Following the drinks reception and meal they had speeches from Michelle’s mum as well as her dad which I thought was a lovely break from tradition, in addition to the best men and groom’s speech! And finally in the evening they had some sparklers which always adds a little touch of magic to the night.
