Charli and Andy are good friends of mine and I was honoured when they asked me to photograph their wedding in November 2020. Similar to a lot of couples they are not huge fans of being in front of the camera, and much prefer natural photos of organic moments to posed shots, so they were keen to have a photographer that focuses on candid, documentary- style photography.
As they are planning to send out information via a website we decided to go for a dog walk (they have a black lab and I have a little bedlington whippet cross who love playing together!) and snap a few engagement shots at the same time.
Charli’s favourite season is autumn and so we were both keen to use as much of the lovely autumn colours in the photos as possible. Entwistle is the perfect location for photos like these as it’s by the water, but also has beautiful tree-lined paths and more open areas.
All in all it was a very enjoyable couple of hours!
